What is the function of copper in printed circuit boards?

Question

Why are the copper requirements on the board so large, and what are their functions? I am very interested in this and hope to get some answers.

    PCB is the printed circuit board used for printing according to the required circuit. The copper is the conductor that completes the circuit.
    Copper is used as the connections that deliver the required power to the target. The printed circuit boards are printed according to the circuit.
