    What is a 4 layer PCB?

    4-layer PCB means that there are 4 layers to pass electrical signals:
    The top layer, Inside layer 1, Inside layer 2 and the bottom layer.
    The top and bottom layers are the outer layers on which we place and route components.
    The inner layer 1 and inner layer 2 are in the core and are normally used as energy layers or for signal routing.
