Introduction Integrated Circuit
The integrated circuit is a kind of miniature electronic device or component. Using a certain process, the components and wiring of transistors, resistors, capacitors, and inductors needed in a circuit are interconnected together, made on one or more small semiconductor wafers or dielectric substrates, and then packaged in a tube case. Become a micro-structure with the required circuit functions.
All the components have formed a whole structure, which makes the electronic components take a big step towards micro miniaturization, low power consumption, intelligence, and high reliability. It is represented by the letter “IC” in the PCB circuit.
Through the semiconductor PCB manufacturing processes such as oxidation, lithography, diffusion, epitaxy, and steaming aluminum, it integrates all the semiconductors, resistors, capacitors and other components needed to form a functional circuit and the connecting wires between them on a small piece of a silicon wafer, and then welds the electronic devices encapsulated in a shell.
The packaging shell has many forms, such as round shell type, flat type or double in-line type and so on. Integrated circuit technology includes chip manufacturing technology and PCB design technology, which is mainly reflected in the capabilities of processing equipment, processing technology, packaging and testing, mass production and design innovation.
